The inaugural Maidstone Invitational Time and Skills Race took place on Sunday October 6th 2019. Aimed at adult novice and recreational rowers and using recreational coxed quad sculling boats this exciting new event took place on the picturesque River Medway in Maidstone. The course of approximately 7 km included tests of boat handling skills and there was a prize for the fastest crew. The aim of the event is to promote recreational rowing in the south east and have a fun day!
