Maidstone Invicta Rowing club is a community based rowing club in Maidstone and invites membership applications from any member of the public. The club is affiliated to British Rowing, the governing body of rowing in England, and abides by its rules and requirements with regard to the conduct of the club and its care of its members.
The club aims to offer the widest range of rowing experiences from club social rowing to the highest level of club competition. The club regularly participates in rowing tours throughout the UK and overseas and it also competes at open races, mainly in southern England and including Henley Royal Regatta.
As a club we pride ourselves on being welcoming to all who approach us and a significant number of our members have not rowed before joining the club. Since then they often go on to become keen rowers and have added significantly to the life of the club.
We are a members club, which is to say that the assets of the club are owned by the club as a whole, under its management committee and constitution. The club is entirely run by unpaid volunteers from within the membership.
